Fred "Doom" Dummar is a memoirist, as well as a retired Special Forces Colonel, ultramarathoner, and corporate leader now writing and learning his craft as a full-time dad. After 25 years planning complex operations in combat zones, he guided a blind Green Beret through 40 marathons and other adventures. Now he applies that same discipline to balance his creative pursuits, spiritual callings, and family obligations—proving that a sustainable practice beats heroic burnout.
